The majestic Mehrangarh Fort which rises above the city is one of the greatest attractions in Jodhpur (the Blue City). The impregnable fort forms a picturesque backdrop of the city and is considered to be one of the largest forts in India. It was built in 1460 and was never invaded.
Jaswant Thada, an intricately crafted cenotaph, was built in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh
