19th century Landau type horse drawn carriage used to drive visitors around the tourist attractions at Glendalough, Wicklow, Ireland.

Glendalough is home to one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland. This early Christian monastic settlement was founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century and from this developed the ‘Monastic City’ which now consists of a number of monastic remains

Love most music: opera, classical, jazz, fado, soft rock and country & western etc. Like photography, golf, singing, cooking, reading, rugby, Australian Football, theatre, ballet and travel. Interested in wine, horse breeding. Widower with 3 adult children. I care for my school age grandson. Took up digital photography in 2010 starting with Panasonic Lumix point and shoot..In June 2011 purchased my first DSLR, a Pentax k-r so I could use my old 100-300 lens. Replaced with with Pentax k-30 and now also shooting with Panasonic Lumix DMC-F2500 travel camera with 24-480mm...
